The wonderful thing about Moore’s law when it comes to camera technology is that HD cameras find their way into the hands of people who do amazing things and go to amazing places.
Where previously if you wanted to see what it was like to skydive, ski, surf, dive, climb or cave you’d have to find one of those rare individuals with the sense of adventure as well as the expertise with the recording equipment and the money to cover insurance on said equipment. Now you just need a few hundred dollars and a suction-cup fitting and you’re good to go.
