Dan McCarthy

The designs mainly consist of dusky landscapes and silhouettes but the colours used and the sheer darkness of some of the images almost force you to let your eyes adjust. I came across one of these images and it immediately reminded me of an astronomy picture book I had when I was a kid called called My Place In Space because his work shares this great sense of scale with the illustrations in that book.
